What A Vacation...
Hiiiii...
Im back again after my vacation..
Actually i've been back since Sunday morning but i suffered serious jetlagged and has no mood to blog.. Gomen nasai ne~.........
So now in the middle of the night, i gonna blog about the vacation..
To start of, me and my auntie and uncle went out from the house at ard 10.30pm... We took the taxi to Changi Airport.. All 3 of us were super excited and kept talking and discussing about the things there..
So we slacked till our check in time which is around 4.30am.. By this time, i was super high coz after a long time, i get to ride an plane again.. hahha.. not important.. So after all the security checks and what not, we get to board the plane.. We went to board the Delta Airlines.. Not bad i have to say..
Most people doesn't know it but actually i love seeing a plane take off and landing.. It's a really weird fascination really.. So we transit in Japan and then change plane to go New York.. Although overall, it's been tiring sitting on the plane, but excitement beats it.. So i didn't really bother about tiredness..
Once stepdown at the JFK airport, i was thrilled.. I was like "I'M IN NEW YORK!!!!" Really can't believe it.. hahaha.. After all the security checks and taken our luggage, we went out of the airport.. It was bloody cold.. The temperature when i arrived was 2 degrees celcius.. 3 of us took out our jackets and gloves and all.. hahaha..
Next is to find our hostel.. We took the airtrain and then the subway.. Seriously, if were not prepared, we could have lost ourselves in the subway.. The subway lines are super messy.. And there's a few trains which go to only local stations and another goes by the express stations.. I dunno how many times we get lost while taking the subway.. Hahaha.. It's so confusing for first-timers..
The hostel was located at West End near Broadway.. A short walk form the hostel is the Central Park.. Hostel not so bad, coz there's 2 queen size bed and i get to sleep all by myself in 1 bed.. hahaha.. But i think the hostel is quite old as everything in there looks ancient.. LOL..
1st day basically, we went in search of food and some necessary items.. As it's already night and we all were already tired, we just went back and slept till 6am..
2nd day was fun.. I went to the shopping places such as Century 21 and Jersey Garden.. Can go crazy at these places.. Can also make u bankrupt.. LOL.. Mostly i spent at Century 21.. Bought gifts and souvenirs for friends and myself there.. Then when it's already dark, we went to Times Square... I really love it there.. Loads of lights and very random people around.. Then in the middle of Times Square, there is this place where there are red staircase and you can go up till the top and look at the view around.. I remember seeing this place in 1 of SMAP videos.. So i decided to take a picture there... Hahaha.. Takuya was there before!!! LOL..
There are too many things in Times Square to explain.. But mostly it's very very entertaining to walk there..
Third Day is the most tiring day.. As this is our last day in which we could go out and shop, we really go all out.. We walked from our hostel which is 101 Avenue up till 47 Avenue..!!!! Imagine.. we walked more than 50 blocks!!! On the way, we stop by shops and department stores to buy things or refreshments for ourselves..Actually walking in New York is way better as u get to see more things.. I saw a News crew filming and also a person who looks like an actor.. hahaha
Then i treat my auntie and uncle to a horse ride at Central Park... Really worth while.. Though its only 20 minutes.. And then before going back to hostel to pack, we went to shoe shop as im finding a shoe.. At the 2nd shop we went, i saw MY DREAM SHOE!!! THAT NIKE SHOE that i had been wanting..But sadly, no size for me.. If there's size, i would have bought it even though it cost more than the shoe i buy.. Im seriously very heartbroken and sad... DAMN IT!!!
To vent my frustrations, once in Singapore, i splurged myself in buying DVDs..
So lastly on the 4th day, we were back at the airport to go home... Wah.. Really felt heavy to leave New York.. Have to admit, eventhough i was there only for a short while, i fell in love with the place and weather.. Very cool there.. Wish i could go there again someday..
But now, im saving money for JAPAN... Still not sure when to go, but maybe July.. Coz there's a rumour there's gonna be SMAP concert there.. Wanna watch it!!!
Ok so thats it... I've posted all pictures in my Facebook account.. Yes.. ALL 400++ pictures...
I gotta go now.. Something to do before watching soccer.. hehehe..
