Al-Fatihah.... Another actress died
INNALILLAH HIWAINNA ILAIHIROJIUN... Actress Allahyarhamha Yusni Jaafar died yesterday.. I was saddened by the news which i heard when i reached home and my grandparents were watching the news about her passing.. She was a fine actress, always jovial and can be the good or bad person in the films.
One of her character which i remembered vividly is as "Mak Ton" in Mencari Mimpi. She acted as a helper in a family whilch also included Hans Isaac. Another character of her that i remembered was her as Umie Aida's mother in Cuci which is also her last film. She played as a blind mother. Though her role is short, she make a great impact in the movie..
Also, i read the news about her passing online. I read The New Straits Times(Malaysia) online and got to know that some actors were present at her burial. The actors are Hans Isaac, Betty Benafe, Aziz Sattar and more. Im quite surprise that Hans Isaac was there. Though before this i know that he was very dear with Allahyarhamha Yusni. This is the quote i took from the news "Actor and director Hans Isaac, 37, said Yusni was a mother figure to him.I became close to Ibu Yusni during the making of Cuci and I am honoured to have had the opportunity to work with her.She would call me almost every day to ask about my work and condition. She would say that I am always in her prayers."
I felt sad and at the same time my heart warm as there will was somebody who show great concern towrds Allahyarhamha Yusni before her passing. Hans Isaac even bought new furnitures to her house when she need it and be there for her. Malaysia had lose one of the finest actress of the time.. Hope she will rest in peace... "Al-Fatihah...."
